Daya Yoga Shala Daya Yoga Shala is a virtual yoga school with an in-person component.

Nola locals can practice in person twice a week, and everyone else can practice via livestream and a massive library of pre-recorded yoga classes, meditations, and more.

Blue Heart is now Daya Yoga Shala! Follow Daya Yoga Shala for more info on in person (twice a week in Algiers Point) and virtual (live-streamed and on demand) classes. This is the culmination of all the things I’ve done in the yoga-sphere and I’m VERY EXCITED to share it with you!

We are on the downhill slide towards the studio close, but there are still a lot of classes to attend if you are so inclined! Beginning with Yin tonight at 6pm.

The rest of this week's schedule is the usual with two exceptions: Subtle Strength is cancelled Tuesday evening due to Deb being in Europe. She'll be back in the teacher's seat Saturday for Fun flow and close out the remainder of the month teaching her usual schedule.

The other slight change is that I will lead Slow Flow into restorative Thursday evening at 6 in Michelle's stead.

Next week we are closed Wednesday and Thursday for Thanksgiving. I've added a Post Thanksgiving Flow class Friday the 28th at 10am to help you recover from your feast. Join me for some movement medicine!

Sunday, November 30th is the last class at Blue Heart. I would love for you to be there if you can! Class is filling up so reserve your spot. If you can't make it in person, you can always tune in virtually.

Blue Heart Yoga is now Daya Yoga Shala !

In case you haven't heard, Blue Heart is closing at the end of November. It has been a wonderful opportunity to serve this community and lead classes in this location, but, life changes, and a new way of working is needed.

I will be bringing my in-person classes to a new location and creating an online school that offer online classes via livestream and a virtual library, as well as working one-on-one in my home studio offering prescriptive yoga therapy.

5:30-6:15 Quick Flow with Sarah Quick as in a short class, not as in move fast.
6:30-7:30 Slow Flow into Restorative with Michelle. This class eases you out of the pace of the day into supported shapes where breath and gravity work out the held tension in your body.
