🎃 We kicked off the trick-or-treat season early with a Trunk-or-Treat at Hillcrest Highlands of Gretna!

A huge thank you to the 29 decorated rigs from River Crawlers of Nebraska for bringing smiles to all ages. More than 150 residents and family members joined the fun on Saturday — what a turnout! 🚗🍬

Christine, our director of wellness services, brought her pup Max to Hillcrest Highlands during pet therapy time to celebrate his birthday with everyone! It was a pawsitive experience for all. 🐾🎉

Some of the Hillcrest Highlands team joined the Alzheimer's Association Nebraska Chapter Greater Omaha Walk to End Alzheimer’s to show support for those affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementias. It was a meaningful day spent raising awareness for a cause close to our hearts. 💜

Dinner and a show! Residents enjoyed a trip to Olive Garden followed by a fantastic performance of “Grease” at the Omaha Community Playhouse.

🎃🍂 Fall vibes in full swing! We got creative with a cozy pumpkin craft made entirely out of yarn. Not only was it festive and fun, but it also gave our fingers a multi-sensory workout, engaging touch, texture and creativity all at once.

During National Assisted Living Week, our USA-themed day started with breakfast and rides from the American Legion Riders and River Crawlers of Nebraska. Thank you, veterans, for your service! 🇺🇸

We capped it off with classic cheeseburgers and fries for lunch. 🍔🍟

Day 4 of National Assisted Living Week took us to Italy! 🇮🇹 Residents enjoyed lasagna, then a trip to Soaring Wings Vineyard. Back at the Highview Pub, everyone enjoyed beverages and Italian ice while learning a little Italian, like “buongiorno” (good day)! 🍷🍧
