It's important to recognize orthodontic emergencies so you can get the help you need quickly. If you see any of these signs, don’t wait—reach out for care! Here are the key signs to watch for:

➡️ Severe Pain or Swelling: Sharp pain or swelling that doesn’t go down with over-the-counter medicine.

➡️ Injuries to the Mouth or Face: Any injuries causing bleeding or tooth dislocation.

➡️ Loose or Dislodged Teeth: If a tooth feels loose or has fallen out, call us right away!

➡️ Difficulty Breathing or Swallowing: Severe issues with breathing or swallowing need immediate attention.

If you find yourself in an emergency, take photos or videos of the affected area, rinse your mouth with warm salt water, and apply ice for the first 24 hours after an injury to help alleviate pain and reduce swelling. These steps can help provide temporary relief and assist us in diagnosing your emergency!
