Bev is overjoyed to be heading home after her recovery, but her time in short-term rehab at Kennybrook Village has left a lasting impression. From the delicious meals and attentive team members to the exceptional therapy and engaging activities, she cherished every aspect of her stay. In fact, Bev became a bit emotional when reflecting on her departure, expressing how much she enjoyed her experience.
One of the highlights of her time here was reconnecting with an old friend who now lives at Kennybrook Village, which brought her immense joy and companionship. We are thrilled for Bev as she celebrates her successful rehab and recovery, and we wish her continued health and happiness!

We need to dedicate an entire post to our incredible, hardworking culinary team! They did an amazing job for our Lucky 13 anniversary, creating a mouthwatering lunch & appetizers that had everyone raving👏💚
Our community members started their lunch with a pear and brie mixed green salad. They then had the choice between sirloin steak with black garlic compound butter or grilled chicken with confit citrus butter—both served with fingerling potatoes and asparagus. We wrapped up the meal with a sweet selection of assorted cheesecake bites.
But they didn't stop there! The culinary team kept the flavor coming with delicious appetizers for our afternoon of games! The appetizer selection consisted of fruit tray, caprese skewers, donut holes, shrimp shooters, charcuterie cups, & veggie tray😋
A huge THANK YOU to our culinary team for their dedication and culinary creativity. Your hard work made the celebration unforgettable! 💚✨

✨ What an incredible day we had for Kennybrook Village's Walk to End Alzheimer's! 💜 Our residents, families, and team members came together for a wonderful afternoon, starting with a walk around campus to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s research.We were also treated to live music from Jesse & The Medicine Men, keeping everyone entertained and dancing! 🎶 A huge thank you to the Gold Wing Road Riders Association for offering thrilling rides to our attendees—such a hit with everyone! 🏍️Our "Get Pie’d" fundraiser, where Kim, concierge, and Larry, transportation, were the lucky (or unlucky 😉) winners and got a pie in the face, all in good fun! 🥧 Thanks to everyone's generosity, we raised $410 for the Alzheimer's Association Iowa Chapter! 🎉Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this event such a success.
