😴 Think it’s okay to sleep in your contacts? Think again.
Even occasionally sleeping in your contact lenses can put your eyes at serious risk.
🚫 Here’s why:
👁️ Less oxygen reaches your eyes while you sleep
🦠 Bacteria can get trapped under the lens
⚠️ Risk of eye infections increases up to 6-8x
💧 Can cause dryness, irritation, and blurry vision
Your eyes need a break-always remove your contacts before bed to keep them healthy and comfortable.
If you’ve accidentally fallen asleep in them, take them out, give your eyes time to recover, and reach out to your eye doctor if you notice redness or pain.
