Today we showered Miss Paris with gifts, love, and a few tears. Paris, who has filled our days with laughter, learning, and love, is heading to the University of Nebraska to pursue her Master of Science in School Counseling. We will miss her greatly, but we are proud of this amazing milestone. Miss Paris is a true role model—showing our little ones that chasing your dreams and working hard makes anything possible. We’re excited to introduce Jacque Howell as the new Director of the Lakin Foundation Child Development Center of Griswold! A passionate educator and dedicated leader, Jacque brings years of experience in early childhood development and a heart for helping children thrive.
When asked what she is most excited about with this new position, Jacque states, “I’m most excited about being part of a place where we get to shape children’s earliest experiences and help them grow, learn, and feel safe. I’m looking forward to building strong relationships with our families and our amazing staff and being in the Griswold community!”

Today we celebrated Miss Jess! 💛
From hugs and bandaids to silly games and dance moves, you’ve filled our days with laughter, patience, and love. While this goodbye isn’t forever, we will miss you so much!
Miss Jess is heading off to be a Preschool Para, and we couldn’t be more proud. The best news? She plans to spend her school breaks and summer vacations right back here — spoiling our kiddos just like always.
Thank you Miss Jess, for every giggle, hug, and moment you’ve shared with us. Your daycare family loves you!
