LVN (Specialty Clinic)
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and flexible Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our Specialty Clinic team. This role supports multiple outpatient service lines and requires strong clinical skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset. The ideal candidate will work closely with physicians and registered nurses to provide high-quality patient care across several specialty areas.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assist the RN in the Endoscopy department with Colonoscopy and EGD procedures
Prepare, maintain, and manage endoscopy equipment and supplies
Administer outpatient IM and SQ injections, IV medications, and perform therapeutic phlebotomy
Assist physicians with outpatient clinic procedures
Provide patient assessment, monitoring, and education in the Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) Clinic
Support the Wound Care Clinic by assessing patients, providing education, and assisting with wound debridement
Prepare, maintain, and manage wound care equipment and supplies
Demonstrate flexibility by supporting multiple clinical areas as needed
Execute additional responsibilities as requested by manager/administration to support clinic operations
Qualifications
Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of Texas
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Minimum of five (5) years of experience as an LVN
Current CPR and ACLS certifications
Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
