Dearest Lovelies of the Hot Yoga Grosse Pointe Community,

After almost 23 years, Hot Yoga Grosse Pointe will close its doors. The regular Class Schedule www.hotyogagp.com will continue through the end of August with the final classes taking place on Sat, August 31st along with a Farewell Celebratory 3pm (60) Silent class. No other way to go out right?!

It’s been a “wonder” filled ride over the years...the FIRST Yoga Studio (Est. 2002) to open in the Grosse Pointe Community, over 22,000 classes taught by many incredible teachers, and last but not least, the THOUSANDS of beautiful souls who have practiced and experienced the life-changing benefits of this incredible practice here at the corner of Wayburn and Kercheval!

I am deeply grateful to each and every one of you for being a part of the journey. Your support, enthusiasm and dedication have made “OUR HAPPY PLACE” a sacred space for acceptance, growth, and transformation. I’m proud of the community we’ve built together and the memories we’ve created together. From yoga classes to workshops and events, from laughter to tears mixed with sweat, grit, that MAKE YOUR MIND attitude, we have shared so much! Hot Yoga GP has been more than just a physical space. It’s been a welcoming “HOME AWAY FROM HOME.” It is my fervent hope that the lessons learned and connections made within our yoga walls will continue to nourish your body, mind, and spirit for the rest of your lives.

Now just a little Yoga Business! Those who have a monthly yoga membership will be charged for the month of August. Otherwise, you may purchase a drop-in class and pre-register online to practice during our final month. I hope to see many happy smiling familiar faces in class. It will truly warm my heart! And if you have any questions, you may email mella@hotyogagp.com Please know I am also packing and moving during this month so I’ll get back to you asap.

It has truly been a privilege to be a part of your yoga lives! I will cherish these beautiful memories FOREVER! Thank you for inspiring me every day and for being such an incredible part of the journey!

When you’ve been around for over 22 years you collect things that have real meaning! 💓🙏💓 Cover Girl, Yogini, and Mountain Master, Lorraine Owczarek scaled 12 mountain tops in her career to raise money for uninsured breast cancer patients! Years later, she continues to inspire our studio community with her “can do” attitude! She’s pictured here with some of our lovely Yogini Spring Challengers this month! It’s a “CAN DO THIS” month!
