It is with a heavy heart I am writing this post. Due to recent events in my life, I have decided to close my practice. I have been at South River Medical Clinic for 10 years and have gotten to know many of you and your families. I was hoping not to retire until I could find a replacement, however I was unsuccessful. That means, unfortunately, you will have to find a new provider.

We will see our last patient May 6, 2022. We will still be in the office for a while to fill prescriptions and transfer medical records. I sincerely apologize for such short notice.

If you have had x-rays taken in our office, they are available for you if you want them. If not we will destroy them for you. Any films we have that were taken at the hospital can be obtained through the hospital on CD.

Thank you for entrusting me with your health care. I will miss being part of your life.

South River Medical Clinic is proud to introduce Tracy Seefried, FNP to our staff. She will be seeing most of Mr. Cunningham patient and is open to new patients.

Sheri Tratnack, NP will no longer be practicing at South River Medical Clinic as she will be taking on a new role at a hospital setting. We wish her well on her new endeavor. We hope her patients will continue to have their healthcare with us. We are pursuing a replacement for Ms Tratnack. Brandon Cuningham, NP and Mary Koogler, NP will be glad to facilitate care.

For clarification. We often get referred to as doctor. Most of the time we correct you and usually get the response, I know. I would just like to make it clear that Ms Tratnack, Mr Cunningham and myself (Ms. Koogler) are all Family Nurse Pratitioners. Ms Tatnack and myself both have subspecialties. Mr Cunningham is a new graduate that alway seeks guidence if he has a doubt.
We are proud to be nurse practitioners and do not pretend to be physicians. If at anytime we feel something is beyond our scope of practice or feel you, the patient, needs care that is beyond our knowledge, we will be quick to refer you. We provide our business cards at our check in and out windows, post our credentials in the waiting room and have our names on our sign out front. If any of you were under the misunderstanding that we were physicians I apologize it was not made clear to you. I feel we give quality care to our patients and wish to continue this service to you.
