June attended school at Eufaula and Haskell Indian School. She spent decades of her life working with the Jay Elementary School District of Jay, OK as their Kindergarten Aid taking care of 1000’s of kindergarten children throughout her career. Then in May of 1991 she retired. She had a servant’s heart taking care of children, her family and friends. June was always there when someone needed her from broken bones, injuries of any sort, or just someone to just sit down and talk to. June was a lady of strong faith that read her Bible daily, and a powerful prayer warrior. She would pray for everyone in need of prayer or just her daily prayers for her family and friends. Worshiping the Lord was foremost in June’s life. She loved singing at church with her family and friends, and she enjoyed being a Sunday School Teacher at various churches throughout her lifetime. Later in life June attended Eucha Holiness Church of Eucha, OK and became a member of the church. June learned how to play the piano, and she shared the love of her piano playing with her church members, family and friends. June was an all-around homemaker and the family butcher with wild game. Nothing went to waste and soon as the family brought their game kill, she would get to work and butcher on site, and then the family had meat until next season. June was a great seamstress. She sewed clothing for her family from school clothes, wedding dresses, prom dresses and anything else that the family needed. Every year she would have her family help her with canning everything from her garden. She loved her gardening and she loved spending time with her children and their families. June lived 96 years, and lived through the great depression, World War II, Vietnam and many other wars up until her passing. She witnessed evolution, the first phone, typewriters, vehicles, refrigerators, computers, cell phones etc. She had so many stories to tell and share to her family and friends, but the most she would share would be the story of Jesus Christ and to have Jesus Christ in your life, heart and soul. She would let you know you can do all things through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, just believe and keep your faith, and most of all PRAY. June left behind her Legacy of faith, family, friends, love, passion, hard work, empathy, helping hands, caregiver, and the Matriarch. June was a precious lady that experienced the blessing to live 96 years on this Earth, watching her children expand the family tree with their families, and was blessed to see her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren grow with her. Now she is blessed to be in her Eternal Home with her Lord Jesus Christ, family and friends for Eternity. June will be dearly missed by her family and friends, and we have peace knowing that one day, we will all be reunited again, eternally.
