INTEGRIS Health Grove Hospital is proud to recognize Atisha Cunningham, RN, for her heart, initiative and dedication to caring for our community in meaningful ways.

As part of INTEGRIS Health Grove Hospital’s continuous improvement campaign, Atisha partnered with women’s services and a group of Grove High School seniors to support moms facing unexpected circumstances, such as those delivering premature babies or those who arrive unprepared for the arrival of their newborn. Through this collaboration, the students selected a senior project focused on collecting essential baby items to help meet these immediate needs.

Thanks to their efforts and Atisha’s leadership and commitment, Grove now has a supply of donated items ready to support mothers and families during what can be an overwhelming and emotional time. This initiative ensures that even in the most unexpected moments, our patients feel supported, cared for and not alone.

This project is a powerful example of how continuous improvement goes beyond processes. It’s about identifying needs, building partnerships and creating solutions that directly impact patient care and experience.

Please join us in thanking Atisha for her outstanding work and for helping bring this meaningful project to life.

In recognition of National Women’s Health Week, INTEGRIS Health Grove Hospital and INTEGRIS Health Miami Hospital are encouraging women of all ages to prioritize their health by scheduling preventive screenings, maintaining healthy habits and staying proactive about their overall well-being.

Observed annually, National Women’s Health Week serves as a reminder for women to take charge of their physical and mental health. From routine checkups and screenings to nutrition, exercise and stress management, small steps can make a significant impact on long-term health outcomes.

“Women often put the needs of others ahead of their own, but preventive care is one of the most important things they can do for themselves and their families,” says Robert Thomas, D.O., FACOG, with INTEGRIS Health Medical Group Women’s Miami. “Regular visits with a health care provider allow us to detect potential concerns early and help women stay on track with screenings and healthy lifestyle choices.”

INTEGRIS Health recommends women stay up to date on annual wellness exams, including blood pressure checks, cholesterol screenings and age-appropriate cancer screenings such as mammograms and cervical cancer screenings. Additionally, maintaining a balanced diet, staying physically active, getting adequate sleep and managing stress are all key components of a healthy lifestyle.

Don’t wait to put your health first. To schedule your annual exam, book any overdue screenings or take the next step toward better health, call 918-540-7867 or visit https://bit.ly/46PMZ4b.
