🎮👀 Gaming is fun, but it’s also visually demanding on young eyes! Protect your child’s vision with these simple eye health tips for gamers:

✅ Follow the 20-20-20 rule (every 20 minutes, look 20 feet away for 20 seconds).
✅ Blink often—set reminders if needed!
✅ Keep artificial tears nearby.
✅ Stop gaming at least 1 hour before bedtime.
✅ Stay hydrated & keep eyes clean daily.
✅ Keep a safe distance: 20" for large screens, 13" for smaller.
✅ Match room lighting to screen brightness.

👀 Healthy eyes = better gaming (and learning) 🎯

👀📚 Kids use their eyes all day for reading, screens, sports & play. Even with 20/20 vision, hidden issues can affect learning. A yearly eye exam is key to back-to-school success! ✏️🍎

A child needs basic visual skills beyond seeing clearly to succeed in school. When his or her vision is not functioning properly, education and participation in sports can suffer.

✋🎉 Happy International Left-Handers Day!
It’s the one day a year lefties get to brag about their superpower—and we’re here for it!

💡 Fun Lefty Facts:
✔️ Left-handers adjust more easily to seeing underwater 👁️🌊
✔️ 1 in 4 Apollo astronauts were lefties 🚀
✔️ Lefties tend to excel in sports like tennis, baseball, and fencing 🎾⚾
✔️ Even 4 of the 5 original Macintosh designers were left-handed 💻

And according to the Left-Handers Club… lefties might just be more intelligent, better looking, imaginative, and multi-talented 😉 (we don’t make the rules!)

To all our left-handed patients — we see you, we celebrate you, and we’re here to keep those talented eyes in top shape! 👓✨

👁️✨ Did your child pass a vision screening? That’s great—but it’s not enough.

Vision screenings at a pediatrician’s office or preschool may miss up to 60% of vision problems in children. They’re not designed to diagnose or fully evaluate how your child sees.

A comprehensive eye exam with a doctor of optometry is the only way to ensure your child’s vision is developing properly and there are no underlying issues like lazy eye, focusing problems, or eye coordination concerns.

🧒 Ages 3–5 is the perfect time to schedule a full eye exam—even if they don’t yet know their ABCs!

📅 Give your child the clear start they deserve. Call us today to book their appointment.

🧒📚 Preschool Vision: Ages 2–5
From stacking blocks to coloring and cutting, preschoolers use vision to build the skills they’ll need for reading, writing, and learning. 👁️✂️📖

This is a key time to detect and treat issues like lazy eye (strabismus) or crossed eyes (amblyopia) — before they impact development. Early eye exams give your child a head start for school and life!

📅 Book a comprehensive eye exam for your little one today.

👶🧸 Did you know your baby’s eyes start developing long before birth?

The first year of life is crucial for healthy vision development. The AOA recommends a comprehensive eye exam between 6–12 months of age to make sure your child’s eyes are developing properly (even if no eye or vision problems are apparent). 👁️✨

📅 Schedule your baby's first eye exam today and give them a clear start in life!

Healthy eyes and good vision play a critical role in infant and child development. Early detection of problems ensures babies have an opportunity to develop visual abilities needed to grow and learn.
