Sunrise @ 7:19 AM over Lake Minneola. Noticing the mind brings freedom from it. The mind seeks its own. It has an agenda. It obscures essence with form. It waits "for" rather than waiting "with". It looks "at" rather than looking "into". It wants to control parameters rather than allow, listen, and learn. It is possible to be in the world of mind and form but not of it.

Using the mind to quiet the mind is futile. The mind does not seek to silence itself, whereas simple observation of the mind brings silence of mind. The stillness is beautiful.

Sunrise @ 7:06 AM. While observing thinking, there becomes an awareness of a type of space - a space of no thought, no mind, no thing - and it is quite pleasant and peaceful.

Sunrise @ 6:58 AM. Watching the thinker do its thinking and noticing that the thinker never watches, the watcher never thinks. The thinker will never notice itself thinking. The watcher will never think about what it watches. Consciousness is trippy at times.

Sunrise @ 6:55 AM. The sun is free, available to everyone, and observing it at sunrise offers several benefits. Meditation does not require watching a sunrise and is available at anytime. According to Joe Dispenza, brainwave patterns almost immediately move toward greater states of coherence when attention is placed on the space our body occupies within space.
