✨Ringing in the New Year together at Forward Health was something the word wonderful doesn’t begin to cover.✨
As the clock counted down and a new year approached, we spent our night embracing each other - it was filled with intention, connection, and moments that will stay with us for a long time. We created vision boards that reflected the lives we’re building. We chose words to guide us into the year ahead. We shared what we’re grateful for, what we’re leaving behind, and what we’re looking forward to becoming. We laughed and cheered through a dance contest, talked openly about the things we’ve hurt over, and the things we are capable of, and we named the dreams we want so badly for our lives.
Tears were shed. Laughter echoed. Pain was shared. Triumph was celebrated.
At several moments, we sat close, holding space for one another with hope, honesty, and love. There was so much pride in the room, not just in individual journeys, but in the collective strength it takes to show up, stay sober, and keep choosing growth.
We set fire to the things we’re leaving in 2025, and letting go of - releasing old pain, old patterns, and heavy chapters that no longer serve us. Together, we walked into 2026 grounded, supported, and ready for all that lies ahead.. for the wonder, the light, and the possibilities waiting for each person in our space.
One of the most meaningful parts of the evening just before midnight, was taking time to reflect on just how far so many have come, and how much growth each person plans to continue nurturing. Together, we acknowledged what past New Year’s Eves once looked like for many.. nights spent feeling empty, alone, cold, hungry, or completely lost. Naming that contrast made the present moment incredibly special. To be surrounded by love, seen, supported, and sober, was a reminder of how much can change when someone is given the chance to heal. That brought gratitude, pride, and a deep appreciation for the lives being rebuilt right now.
Most importantly, we walked into the New Year sober together; what a gift.
We are deeply proud of our clients and their courage, vulnerability, and commitment to themselves. We are equally proud of the incredible individuals on the Forward Health team who make moments like this possible. There is truly nowhere else we would rather be on New Year’s Eve than alongside our residents, celebrating recovery, resilience, and the beauty of moving forward together.
Here’s to new chapters, continued healing, and all that’s ahead.
Happy Day One of 2026, and the rest of our lives 🤍
