Grundy County Memorial Hospital was happy to host 12 students from Aplington-Parkersburg, BCLUW, Grundy Center, and Gladbrook-Reinbeck for our Safe Sitter class on December 30.

Students learned valuable skills in first aid, rescue techniques, life skills, and child care, preparing them to confidently care for children in their communities. Thank you to everyone who attended!

Representatives from the Cancer in Iowa: 99 Counties Project will share Grundy County–specific cancer data and invite community conversation on Thursday, January 15, from 10 to 11 a.m. This meeting, sponsored by state and county partners, will focus on cancer trends, statistics, and risk factors affecting Grundy County.

The event will be held in person at Grundy County Memorial Hospital and will also be available virtually. Community members are encouraged to attend, register, and share this opportunity with others.
