Here at CLSD, we don't limit our services to just assisting humans. For example, if we find a lost baby goat, we will pet it, and we will return it to it's herd. Please forgive Paramedic Meg, and EMT Malia behind the camera, if they've got a little goat fur on their uniforms.

Sometimes recess comes with a show! Our ambulance crews use several designated landing zones throughout our district to meet helicopters quickly and safely—this one happens to be at Horicon school, and the kids always enjoy watching the action from a distance. 🚁 🚑

We enjoyed being included in today's Sea Ranch Forum. Our EMS Chief, Bronwyn, spoke to those gathered about the history, uniqueness and value of Coast Life Support. Medic 120 and Medic 122 were able to attend and enjoyed meeting some of our neighbors. Thanks for having us!

Staying healthy on duty and off duty is important. Coloring may sound silly, but it may have benefits for adults, including stress reduction, improved focus and creativity, and boost cognitive function... so a little coloring time was assigned this week!

Teamwork makes the dream work! ... a common misunderstanding is that Coast Life Support is part of a fire department, or an extension of RCMS or a hospital. We are our own independent agency, and work closely with all local fire departments, as well as RCMS, MHA and our area hospitals in Sonoma and Mendocino counties. We appreciate all our partner agencies!
