Sick eyes do not reside in a healthy body -- Dr. Clement Trempe MD (Retina Specialist)
Early signs of Alzheimer’s often include frequent falls, difficulty reading, poor comprehension, and memory challenges. In many cases, these may be related to visual processing disorders, eye-movement dysfunction, or binocular vision problems. Eye and vision issues can appear long before an actual Alzheimer’s diagnosis, and several eye diseases follow processes similar to those seen in Alzheimer’s. That’s why early prevention is essential.
If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with cataracts, glaucoma, macular disease, or cognitive decline, and have been told that nothing can be done or your are treated and the eye treatment does not seem to work, there is still hope.
