Folks in our P2 Pittsfield facility had a retirement send-off for Mike Hassell yesterday. Mike is retiring this Thursday after 14 years with Puritan — beginning in our Guilford facility as a technician and later in Pittsfield as an operator. Mike plans to enjoy retirement life first with some golf at Fogg Brook followed by some fishing and hunting, with his eye on scoring a moose later this year.

Fun fact: later that same year, Maine even saw a rare snowfall on May 11, 1945, with 8–10 inches reported in places...winter really stuck around! 🌨️
