Hello friends. It has been a while since I posted here. Most of my updates are now over at Yoga Therapy Associates, and I would love to reconnect with you here too.

I realized I have not shared this here yet. Last December I finished chemotherapy for breast cancer, and I am grateful to say I am cancer free and doing really well.

Before my diagnosis I spent years working as a yoga therapist, including with women with metastatic breast cancer and ovarian cancer, and with children and their parents at Smilow Cancer Hospital as a volunteer. During treatment I leaned on yoga therapy every step of the way. It helped me manage the challenges of treatment and recovery on every level. I am thankful to have had these skills, and I am passionate about passing them along.

I now offer private yoga therapy for people navigating cancer, anxiety, and trauma at my new office in Madison, CT, right next to Ashley’s Ice Cream. I also see clients via telehealth.

Next week I will be presenting at the Caring for Metastatic Breast Cancer Conference in New Haven. If you or someone you know is affected by metastatic breast cancer, please share this or join us.

Hello, friends!

First off, a heartfelt thank you. Your encouragement and belief in what I do have been the wind beneath my wings. Because of you, I’m continually inspired to craft resources that truly resonate with our community's needs.

Recognizing the unique tapestry of challenges and joys our tweens face, especially at the onset of a fresh school year, I've curated a special 6-week online yoga therapy series. My very own 7th-grader has even agreed to dive in, signaling its genuine appeal for kids who are already starting to want to feel less stress in their lives at a tender age.

You already know that I passionately advocate for open dialogue around mental health. With this series, we're taking another step to embrace, understand, and empower our tweens in this shared mission.

I'd be deeply honored if you'd consider this offering for the young ones in your life. Together, let’s teach our tweens what we wish we knew then.

Hi! I’m so glad you’ve found me and have taken the first step toward deepening or beginning your yoga practice.

For thousands of years, yoga in its fullest form was transmitted directly from one teacher to one student in a tradition called parampara. ​Today, I honor this tradition by providing a truly customized experience designed with YOU in mind.

My former career as a classical musician has given me an advanced kinetic awareness and the discipline to practice at home daily. It has also provided me with a unique perspective on teaching breath control (pranayama) to guide inner awareness. Pranayama helps cultivate poise even in the most rigorous of practices.

I look forward to getting to know you as you explore your personal practice.
