There’s nothing like lifelong friendship. Once a year, our little middle school coven gathers and we eat great food, reminisce, and talk openly about the craziness of life and getting older. Life is a wild ride and I am forever grateful that Hilaire skipped kindergarten and landed at our middle school and I am also forever grateful that Rosie and I grew up walking distance to each other. 💚💚💚

Very THANKFUL for a lovely day with family yesterday. I am so happy to have spent some extra time with my girl to make some fun Thanksgiving treats.

Shout out to yet again for a great Mommy-Mara hair cut. helped me tame my mane…swipe to the end to see the before pic…And .visionsct took excellent care of Mara Moo. They listened, consulted with both of us, and gave Mara a freshy fresh clean up. Thank you for letting my kiddo be her whole self.

Part of being self employed is wearing many hats….and today I wore the hat of the massage chair repair lady 👩‍🔧

I was wondering why screws kept falling out of my chair, and of course, I discovered this as we began the expo today.

But…the show must go on! Thankfully showed up with a screw driver and we were back in business!

Ok, the entire month of October flew by and I didn’t make any “Breast Cancer Awareness” posts. There’s a few reasons why: general work-life busy-ness but also, for breast cancer survivors it can be a bittersweet month. It can bring up some ptsd and survivor’s guilt. The “pink washing” can seem insincere from major companies. I have a love-not so much love relationship with the whole thing.

HOWEVER! My husband, the lovely wears his pink chef coat every Friday in October and quizzes his students on breast cancer facts. Every year he brings awareness to young minds who have their whole lives ahead of them and should know the statistics and benefits of early detection. THAT’S the importance of breast cancer awareness month.
