You are a vessel for your own energy, and you're in charge of what you allow in. When you're feeling off, it can often be because you've taken on someone else's energy. This can happen when you're around people who are stressed, upset, or just have a different vibe than you. Their energy can get tangled up with yours, making it hard to tell what's yours and what isn't.
What It Feels Like
When you're carrying someone else's energy, you might feel exhausted, anxious, or even irritable without a clear reason. It's like wearing clothes that aren't yours—they just don't fit right. You might feel a general sense of unease or a heaviness that wasn't there before. Your thoughts might feel cluttered, and it can be difficult to connect with your intuition or inner guidance.
How to Get Back to You
Getting back to yourself is about reclaiming your personal energy field. The most effective way to do this is to get back into your body and out of your head. This isn't about ignoring others; it's about being intentional with your energy so you can show up as your best self for yourself and others.
Here are a few ways to get back to your own vibration:
* Move Your Body: Physical movement is a powerful way to shake off stagnant or foreign energy. Go for a walk, dance in your living room, or do some light stretching. The goal is to get the energy flowing again.
* Spend Time in Nature: Nature has a naturally grounding effect. Walk barefoot in the grass, sit by a tree, or just feel the sun on your skin. These simple acts can help you release what isn't yours and reconnect with your own essence.
* Take an Epsom Salt Bath: Salt is known for its cleansing properties. A warm bath with Epsom salts can help to draw out negative or foreign energy, leaving you feeling lighter and more centered.
* Practice Breathwork: Your breath is a direct link to your energy. Try a simple breathing exercise where you inhale deeply, hold for a few seconds, and then exhale slowly. Visualize yourself releasing everything that isn't serving you with each exhale.
Passing on Energy
When you're not feeling at your best, it's important to be mindful of how you interact with others. You don't want to unintentionally pass on the low-vibration energy you're holding. This isn't about isolating yourself but rather about being conscious of your state.
Before you engage with someone, take a moment to pause. Check in with yourself and see where your energy is at. If you're feeling drained or irritable, you can take a moment to set a clear intention. You can simply say to yourself, "I am not going to project my energy onto this person. I am a calm and grounded presence."
Remember, the goal isn't to be at your highest vibration all the time—that's not realistic. The goal is to be aware of where you are energetically and to take responsibility for your own field. By doing this, you protect your energy and honor the energy of those around you.
