Meet the Team Tuesday!

Suzette, Director of Culinary Services, has been with Seagrass Village of Gulf Shores for over two years. Suzette moved to our area from Arizona, opening up her own bakery in our small beach town. Most Gulf Shores locals know Suzette from said bakery - A Sweet Secret Bakery & Cafe! Suzette has worked her way up (something you may see a trend in with our managers and staff) from Cook to Culinary Director!
Fun fact about Suzette - she owned a bakery, but the cookies were her least favorite part!

Meet the Team Tuesday!

Jan, Administrative Assistant, has been apart of the Seagrass Village family for almost 4 years. Jan and her significant other moved here from Ohio in 2021. Jan has two sons, two grandchildren, and one Doodle! She retired after 20 years as a Medicaid Transportation Supervisor. Jan’s decision to return to work has turned out to be very rewarding. In Jan’s free time, she enjoys going to the beach with family and friends. She also likes going to yard sales and flea markets to find items to refurbish.

Josh, Director of Maintenance, comes to our area 6 years ago from California. Josh has over 8 years of experience in maintenance and has worked his way from Maintenance Technician to his current manager position. In Josh's free time, he enjoys walking nature trails with his kids and visiting our local beaches!

Lisa, Director of Resident Services, comes to us from Illinois 5 years ago when her husband and children packed up to call Gulf Shores home. Lisa has been apart of the Seagrass Village family for 2 years, working her way from Caregiver to her current Manager role. When asked what Lisa's favorite part of the job is, she states that it's the relationships she builds with her residents and their families. In Lisa's free time, she enjoys spending time at our local beaches and spending quality time with her family. We appreciate you, Lisa!
