Jupiter Meets Venus – August 12, 2025 🌌

Two of the brightest worlds in our sky are about to put on a breathtaking show! Just after sunset on August 12, look toward the western horizon and you’ll see Venus gleaming like a diamond right next to mighty Jupiter — so close they’ll look like a cosmic “double star.”

🔭 What to Expect:
Venus will dazzle as the evening’s brightest point of light, while Jupiter glows warmly beside it. Even though they’re separated by hundreds of millions of kilometers, from our viewpoint here on Earth they’ll appear side-by-side.

🕰 When to Look:
Right after sunset — catch them before they sink below the horizon.

📍 Viewing Tip:
Pick a spot with an open view to the west and as little light pollution as possible. Bring binoculars or a telescope, and you might spot Jupiter’s moons!
