Keep this strong boy in your prayers! He has cellulitis and staph infection in his arm due to an infection that formed under his omnipod. He will not be able to go outside for a week due to his medicine having sun restrictions.

2 years ago on this day is when we found out that Ethan was diagnosed as a Type 1 diabetic. It has been a rough 2 year battle with checking blood sugar, shots, wearing life saving devices, etc. But he has overcome his battles and now it is so much easier to control.

Took this crazy boy to his endocrinologist appointment today 🤣🥰 everything is looking good. Dr. Armstrong is pleased with his numbers and is happy that he is finally on the omnipod 5. Just have to make sure to start giving him insulin not only with his meals but also with snacks from now on. We return in 3 months for blood work to see how his thyroids and A1C levels look!

We have our second order of omnipod's!! I can't express enough how much stress has been lifted off my shoulders knowing our son is being taken care of at school and at home with just a simple press of a button from his omnipod phone that gives him his insulin to him everyday 🥹. Ethan is loving it knowing he doesn't have to have 4 shots a day ever again. Granted I wish we didn't have to pay for them but he is worth it!!

Also to an absolutely angel that i met on Facebook who sent us 6 unopened boxes of omnipod's for FREE!! He has more than enough and then some!! Our prayers have been answered and to the people who helped us last month to get his first order of omnipod's again I thank you from the bottom of my heart!! ❤️🥰

Finally got Ethan omnipods order, took forever to get in contact with US MED. Have to wait for a few days for them to come in. Also to the ones that helped us out to get the omnipod's for our son we want to say THANK YOU!!! It wouldn't be possible without yahs help to get $650!! Thankfully next month we only have to pay $390 for the pods. This starts a new chapter in Ethan's life, I know he will like this so much better than getting 4 shots every day. I'll update again once they come in!

I can honestly say getting up almost every night to get not 1 but 2 diabetics sugar back up then having to deal with the baby being hungry is a lot on this momma. I swear their dexcoms are connected to each other at night. 🤦
