Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30pm, 8.75 per hr., this includes an hour lunch break and 2 15 mins.

All nights and state recognized holidays off.
There is a supervisor on site to train. All cleaning material are provided by the company.

You will need to have Reliable transportation to get to and from the job site, a valid ID and Social Security Card.

We are looking for a Janitor, or custodian, to take care of our building and carry out cleaning, maintenance and security duties. The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition.

Responsibilities

Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
Make adjustments and minor repairs
Stock and maintain supply rooms
Cooperate with the rest of the staff
Follow all health and safety regulations
Skills

Proven working experience as a janitor
Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
Integrity and ability to work independently
High school degree

Perform all related tasks that are needed to ensure the assigned job-related responsibilities are carried out so the assigned building/account is cleaned to the standards of ServiceMaster and the customer task list.

Description of Duties:
Follow the task list for your assigned building or assigned position. Carry out assigned tasks within the time allotted. *(See General Task List Below)Maintain your janitorial closet clean, neat, and organized .Keep equipment clean and supplies organized. Obtain and maintain passing scores on janitorial Quality Assurance inspections. Communicate regularly with your supervisor and division manager to ensure that you have the items needed to perform your job and that you are meeting the customer’s expectations. Communicate with your customer at your assigned facility as needed. Maintain a safe work environment by ensuring that wet floor signs are used when mopping floors, spray bottles and other containers are appropriately labeled, and your work area is secured at all times. Secure your building or area once you have completed your assigned tasks.*General Task List, (Maybe specific details associated with an account that are not listed below.)Spot clean entrance door glass. Experience Needed.
Must know how to run an Extractor, Roto/Scrubber/side-by-side, Burnishers, and have experience working with wax, and stripper products.

You will need to bring in a valid ID or Drivers License, and your social security card.
