We are excited to partner with Coast Electric, Southern Mississippi Planning and Development District, Feeding the Gulf Coast, Mississippi Department of Human Services and the Hancock County Library System for a Drive-Thru Mobile Food Pantry in Pearlington at the Pearlington Public Library on Monday, March 30th from 10AM-1PM.

Thinking about long-term care can feel overwhelming. Particularly when, in general, Medicare does not cover long-term care if that is the only care you need. It’s a stressful "gap" to discover, particularly when you’re trying to plan for a future that preserves yours or a loved one's independence and dignity.
Know that there are several other paths, listed here, you can take to help you get the care you deserve.
*While it doesn't cover long-term residency, Medicare provides limited, short-term support for recovery and hospice care under specific conditions. Ask your local SHIP about skilled nursing facility care, home health care, and/or hospice care.
