🌈🐾 In Loving Memory of Fenn 🐾🌈

We were deeply honored to provide aftercare services for Fenn, a beloved companion whose story is one of love, rescue, and the unbreakable bond between a pet and their family.

From his mom, Carol:
"I want to thank you so much for taking care of my Fenny. He was absolutely my heart. You were so kind when I spoke to you that morning when he passed away. I would like to share some pictures of him at a happier time. Fenn had actually been dumped in a high kill shelter in Louisiana after the elderly owner passed away. Thankfully he was pulled by a lady in rescue and came to Mississippi to live. My husband and I adopted him from her. He was immediately my best friend. He slept every night curled in my arms. It’s been a hard week and a half not having my little cuddle bug. I miss him so much."

Fenn’s journey reminds us of the power of second chances and how pets find their forever homes right where they belong. He will always be remembered as Carol’s loyal cuddle bug and cherished best friend. ❤️

🐾✨ Honoring Skitty ✨🐾

At A Pet’s Memory, we are always humbled to be chosen to provide aftercare for beloved companions. We were honored to care for Skitty, a truly one-of-a-kind best friend. 💙

His family shared these heartfelt words:

“My sweet Skitty. To some, a regular black and white cat…but to me, my very best friend. I got him off of Craigslist in high school. I named ‘him’ Hazel Grace. That was until Hazel Grace had questionable parts and so Hazel Grace became Hank. Hank was his government name, but to my family and I, he was Skitty. ‘Stray kitty’ because I lied to my poor mom and told her I found this baby kitten in a ditch. 9 years wasn’t nearly long enough, and I’m heartbroken to think of all the years we didn’t get to spend together. I’m also grateful for the time we did have. He was the ruler of our house. He even bossed around our Saint Bernard. He was the best cat I’ve ever owned, and I’m lucky to have loved him. ❤️❤️”

Skitty’s story is a reminder of the deep bond between pets and their families—full of love, laughter, and memories that last forever. 🌈🐾

We are grateful to have been trusted with his care.

🌈🐾 Remembering sweet Annie today.

Her mom, Katie, shared these heartfelt words with us:

"Annie was a rescue, my friend rescued her from a situation where she lived in a kennel for a few years of her life. My friend homed her to me and she was an absolute once in a lifetime dog. She was always by my side, she was so smart and learned a few tricks along the way, and loved offleash hiking and swimming. Her favorite things were puddles and she’d always be the dog at the park playing in the water bowl. She loved cuddles and was up in my lap soon as she could, never had as loyal as a dog as her. I’m very sad her time was cut short with me, but I know she’s in a better place."

A Pet’s Memory was truly honored to be chosen to provide Annie’s aftercare services. Sending love to Katie as she remembers her loyal companion. ❤️

We were honored to provide aftercare services for Roman. His mother, Tabitha, shared his story with us and we want to share it with you.

"We found Roman, "roaming" town in March of 2020. That night we brought him home, bathed him and provided a safe, warm place to rest. After ten days, he was not claimed and we were relieved because by day three, he was so comfortable with us. It's like he was meant for us just as much as we were meant for him. He loved so hard. Sadly, our dear sweet Roman suffered from severe separation anxiety and noise phobia. After five years of trying everything we could to help him and before he hurt himself badly, we had to make the hard decision to put him down. On the outside he was strong, agile and beautiful but on the inside he struggled. Roman, I pray that all of your fears are gone and you are healthy and happy in heaven. Thank you for loving us, you will never be forgotten...until we meet again. "

Honoring Thumper 🐾

This sweet boy was truly one of a kind—and one of our largest clients yet. His mom, Lena, says his favorite spot was her lap and he loved to play with his favorite toy, stainless steel bowls.

To ensure his memory was honored just right, we created a custom engraved name plate with four lines of text and special clip art in a larger size to place on Thumper's urn.

We are now offering specialty name plates like this to help make your beloved pet's tribute as unique and meaningful as they were. 💛

🎆 Fourth of July Announcement 🇺🇸

In honor of Independence Day, our office will be closed on Thursday, July 4th. However, we understand that loss doesn’t follow a schedule; after hour calls will still be accepted. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need us.

❤️ While we all celebrate, please keep your pets safe and comfortable with these important tips:

🐾 Keep pets indoors during fireworks, as loud noises can cause anxiety or panic.

🐾 Create a safe space with their favorite toys and bedding.

🐾 Update ID tags and microchips, just in case your pet gets startled and runs.

🐾 Avoid sharing human food, as some holiday foods can be toxic to pets.

🐾 Exercise pets earlier in the day to help ease anxiety before the celebrations begin.
