Problem with Health Insurance Denial? Some steps to take, ask "in writing" for..
1. The name, board specialty, and license number of the doctor making the determination that the treatment wasn't medically necessary.
2. Copies of all materials used to make decision
3. Proof the doctor making the determination has maintained license and registration in your state and all CE
4. The aggregate rate at which similar treatments are denied vs approved by the dr being used for peer review.

You may not receive ALL of these but ask. This information can make a difference in being prepared to defend yourself.
