Start your engines - today is the day to Celebrate! Join us from 4-7 TODAY at Legion Park for free school supplies, activities, and more! We're excited to be joined by different community members and organizations bringing their vehicles to share with us - we'll be picture perfect.

If you've never been to Celebrate, we'd be happy to have you for the first time. Admission is FREE, food is FREE, and you don't have to register if you need school supplies. Bring a backpack and we'll fill you up - then stick around for a free snow cone, popcorn, cotton candy, and more!

Celebrate is TODAY from 4-7. We'll see you there?

It's official - less than 24 hours until Celebrate, by The Gunnison Project starts up. Volunteers are accepted beforehand, and for the first time ever, donations will be accepted at the event!

Hey, Gunnison! Celebrate, by The Gunnison Project, an event where we distribute FREE school supplies to hundreds of Gunnison students, is coming up on Saturday, but we’re short on school supplies right now. Celebrate is a free community event with a strong track record of getting kids what they need to succeed.
Can you chip in and help us reach our goal? We are running short of about 50 of each kind of supplies.

We’re in desperate need of:
Binders
Wide Ruled Notebooks
Wide Ruled Composition Books
Liquid Glue
Dry Erase Markers

We are not in need of:
Scissors
Pencils
Pencil boxes/bags
Colored pencils
We have donation boxes in Walmart and Safeway! We appreciate anything that you can contribute, but we strongly encourage buying multiples of the same item (a dozen notebooks, multiple bottles of glue.) If you would rather donate money, there is a link on our website; https://celebrategunnison.org

Wondering why our donation boxes aren’t around? This year, The Gunnison Project is taking a break from Celebrate.

Over the last few years, The Gunnison Project has provided free school supplies, free food, and other free activities to the community in its annual Celebrate event. We’ve filled the backpacks of over 500 students for free - while at the same time handing out massive clouds of cotton candy and perfecting the perfect tag arena.

We’ve been grateful to have your support, and we hope that you’ll stick around for next year’s event! Follow Celebrate, by The Gunnison Project for more updates and reminders!
