👋 Say hi to Bre! ✨

Bre is one of our incredible Radiologic Technologists and recently stepped into a new role as our PACS Administrator—and she’s not stopping there! She’s currently working toward adding mammography to her skillset, continuing to expand the care she provides to our community. 🩻💗

When asked what she loves most about her job, Bre didn’t hesitate: “I love my coworkers!” That teamwork and positivity truly shine through in everything she does.

You’ll usually find Bre powered by her daily Diet Dr Pepper 🥤 and surrounded by sticky notes—her go-to system for staying organized and keeping patient care running smoothly between exams.

One piece of advice that’s always stayed with her came from a job interview:
“I can teach you how to take an X-ray, but I can’t teach you how to be a person.”
Paired with a quote often attributed to Abraham Lincoln, “Whatever you are, be a good one,” Bre lives by the idea that integrity and excellence matter more than any title. And it shows in the care she provides every day.

Outside of work, Bre enjoys camping, mountain rides, traveling, working sheep, crafting with her girls, and spending quality time with her family. 🏕️🐑💛

We’re so grateful to have Bre on our team—her dedication, heart, and work ethic make a difference every single day!

👶🧠 Did You Know?

A child’s brain develops faster in the first 5 years of life than at any other time! 🧠✨ During these early years, millions of connections are forming every second—building the foundation for how children learn, communicate, and interact with the world around them.

Simple, everyday moments make a big impact. Talking, reading, singing, and playing with your child all help strengthen these brain connections and support healthy emotional and social development. 💛

Regular pediatric checkups are also an important part of this journey. They help track growth and development, ensure milestones are being met, and give parents the chance to ask questions and get guidance along the way.

Ways you can support your child’s development:
✔️ Read together every day—even a few minutes makes a difference 📚
✔️ Talk and engage with your child throughout the day
✔️ Encourage play and creativity (blocks, drawing, pretend play) 🎨
✔️ Keep up with well-child visits and recommended screenings 🩺

The early years go by quickly, but the impact lasts a lifetime. Investing time, attention, and care now helps set your child up for a healthy, successful future. 🌟

🦴 Did You Know?

Your bones reach their peak strength by your late 20s—after that, it’s all about protecting and maintaining what you’ve built! 🦴

As we age, bone density naturally begins to decrease, which can increase the risk of fractures and conditions like osteoporosis. The good news? There’s a lot you can do to keep your bones strong and healthy at every stage of life. 💪

Here’s how you can support your bone health:
✔️ Get enough calcium – Foods like dairy products, leafy greens, and fortified foods help build and maintain bone strength.
✔️ Don’t skip vitamin D – It helps your body absorb calcium. Sunlight, fortified foods, and supplements (if recommended) can help. ☀️
✔️ Stay active – Weight-bearing exercises like walking, jogging, or strength training help keep bones strong.
✔️ Avoid smoking & limit alcohol – Both can weaken bones over time.
✔️ Talk to your provider – Ask if you should have a bone density screening, especially as you get older.

Taking small steps today can help protect your bones for years to come—so you can stay active, independent, and doing the things you love. 💙

💧 Did You Know?

Even mild dehydration can affect your mood, energy, and ability to focus. 💧 When your body doesn’t get enough fluids, you may start to feel tired, dizzy, or even get headaches—making it harder to get through your day.

Staying hydrated helps regulate body temperature, supports digestion, keeps your joints moving smoothly, and allows your body to function at its best.

Simple ways to stay hydrated:
✔️ Carry a water bottle with you throughout the day
✔️ Drink water with meals and snacks
✔️ Eat water-rich foods like fruits and vegetables 🍉🥒
✔️ Pay attention to thirst—it’s your body’s way of telling you it needs more fluids

A good goal for most people is around 6–8 cups of water daily, but your needs may vary depending on activity level and environment.

Making hydration a daily habit is a small step that can have a big impact on how you feel. 💙
