My story

I am a life long yogi with a passion for sharing the practice of yoga with everyone. My goal is to teach you how to "practice" balancing all that life throws at us (physical, energetic, in relationships, in work, in life) on the mat so that you can weave these practices into your real life. Yoga to me is not about a perfect backbend or arm balance but instead about the concepts of integrating both stira (steadiness, focus) and sukha (ease) in our everyday lives. I am a huge proponent of moving in extra-ordinary ways so that as we age we maintain strength, balance and flexibility. 
My "other" life is one of an online fitness coach and certified personal trainer. I have experienced my owner personal transformation both physically and mentally through an online fitness program and I am here to help you do the same! Ideally I’d love to work one on one with you several times and then send you off to work on a home program for 3-8 weeks. This keeps the cost down for you and allows me to reach the greatest amount of people (thus aligning with my mission to change the world). Once you have mastered the moves and understand how to do them safely, the workouts are done at home or at your gym but most importantly they become integrated into your life. You can do them when your schedule allows.  Most of these workouts are only 30 minutes so for us busy business owners, moms, wives, city councilors... etc it works! The accountability and support you will receive will guarantee your success if you are committed to a healthier you. One of the most important aspects of my group, even above the weight loss and improved muscle tone and strength, is the mental breakthroughs that occur for many in my Solshine Tribe group. There are many ways to get in shape but only one to KEEP it up for life and that is by making a shift in the way you think about nutrition and exercise, and most importantly the way you think about yourself and your potential. I want to teach you new habits that you thread into your daily life to ensure that you live the healthiest life you possibly can!
