Shamanic Journeying, connecting with the spirit world, is the oldest spiritual practice on earth, with evidence from over 40,000 years ago, and still practiced by many cultures around the world.
It is a spiritual technique, a connection to your spiritual self, like meditation or yoga. These practices help humans find balance physically, emotionally, and mentally and help keep us from becoming “spiritually bankrupt” when faced with life’s challenges, traumas, and injuries. Ancient cultures used shamans to heal the spiritual energy of the wounds, as well as heal someone’s physical wounds, an understanding of “as within, so without.”
You have a body. You don’t have a spirit. You ARE a spirit! All beings have a Spirit. Journeying is a way to tap into the spiritual world and helps to understand life from a unique perspective, connects us to compassionate beings that are with us from the moment we are born, and to powerful allies who guide and heal us.
Journeying methods include repetitive sounds and an intention. The practice allows humans the ability to develop relationships with these spiritual forces in life and to receive wisdom, insight, and healing energy on both basic and profound levels.
This transformative technique is guided by Barbara Haas, who has trained with some of the most respected shamanic teachers in the field. She has offered healing circles, workshops, and private sessions for 33 years in the valley.

Celebrate and connect to LIGHT!
For all of our lives we are on a twirling planet who circles a star in an outer arm of the Milky Way galaxy. There is profound power in that light. Plants and trees are masters of it and humans feel shifts in mood and energy levels based upon the light available. Our relationship with that star makes our lives possible. We will journey to take gifts to the Sun and also receive messages from the sun to bring more potential to our life.
Friluftsliv, a way of life spent exploring and appreciating nature, translates directly from Norwegian as "free air life," a concept that being outside is good for human beings' mind and spirit.
Shamanism & Journeying “There is a door to Spirit, and it only has one doorknob. The doorknob is on our side, so we are the only ones who can open it.Spirit lives in a world of non-interference, and they cannot help without our asking, not just thinking about it, but outloud and with much inten....
