We are thankful for WAAY-TV for spotlighting gynecologic robotic surgery at Marshall Medical Centers! We are thrilled that the women of Marshall County have access to robotic surgery right here at home with Dr. Kiper. Dr. Kiper and Dr. Zeien are committed to bringing the most innovative minimally invasive surgical techniques for the benefit of our patients!

When Dr. Holly Kiper joined the Marshall Medical team increasing the staff of OB/GYNs to seven, that was good news for this growing community. But she also brought to the table skills and experience in robotic surgery, which is even better news for women facing a gynecological procedure. We will be opening up special surgical consult appointments even for new patients for both Dr Kiper and Dr Zeien if there are ladies that want to benefit from this technique! Our tubal and hysterectomy patients are recovering in 1-2 days versus weeks previously. We are even talking to some local businesses to hopefully offer discounts for anyone that would be traveling from out of town. Currently there are only a few docs in Bham and one other in Huntsville offering this technique in all of Alabama. Come see us as we want all ladies that need surgical procedures to benefit from this vNOTES approach.
