When Mike Bearden was just a young boy, he made a promise to his mother, Miss Willodeen Bearden—that one day he would open his own business and name it after both of them. A simple, heartfelt promise… one she never forgot.

Years later, that promise has come to life with Mikewill Automation.

Today, Miss Willodeen—one of our very own beloved residents here at Lakeshore Senior Living—stood proudly beside her son at his ribbon cutting, watching that childhood dream become a reality. The pride on her face said it all. This wasn’t just the opening of a business—it was a celebration of love, legacy, and a promise kept.

At Lakeshore, we are honored to be home to stories like this and the incredible people who live them every day. ✨

What an amazing workout session our residents at Lakeshore Senior Living had today! 🪑💪 Movement is such a game-changer as we age—it keeps us strong, flexible, balanced, and gets that blood flowing while lifting our spirits too! Employee Spotlight 🌟

Meet Meg Southerland, our amazing Activity Director! Meg has been part of the Lakeshore family for 3 years, and in her words, it never feels like a job—just like spending every day with her grandparents. And she wouldn’t have it any other way!

If you’ve been around the building, you’ve probably heard her before you’ve seen her—Meg is always smiling, laughing, and spreading joy everywhere she goes. Known as the “fun one,” she loves pulling pranks, cracking jokes, and making sure everyone has something to smile about.

You can count on Meg to turn up Rocky Top every chance she gets and bring the energy to every occasion. When the holidays roll around, she’s the one dressed up, fully in the spirit, and leading the celebration as the life of the party!

For Meg, these aren’t just residents—they’re family. And it shows in everything she does. 💛
