Emotional well-being plays an important role in overall health. Supportive environments, regular interaction, and consistent care help seniors feel more secure and connected, which matters just as much as physical care.

❤️Love was definitely in the air at Lakeshore Senior Living ❤️

We celebrated Valentine’s Day with toe-tapping piano playing, cheerful ukulele tunes, and enough goodies to make Cupid proud. From fruit and salty snacks to chocolate, ice cream, cakes, and cookies…and plenty of sweet Valentine’s from all over!

The fun continued as we crowned our Sweetheart Kings and Queens 👑 (royal waves were highly encouraged!), and we ended the evening with a fabulous candlelit steak dinner that made the whole day feel extra special.

Full hearts, full plates, and the very best company — that’s how we do Valentine’s Day at Lakeshore 💕

This week our Lakeshore family says goodbye to two very special women, Juanita Hipp and Valerie Marcy — better known and loved by all of us as Nita and Val.

Both ladies joined our community shortly after we opened our doors, and it’s impossible to imagine Lakeshore’s story without them. They helped shape the laughter in our hallways, the friendships around our tables, and the spirit that makes this place feel like home.

Nita and Val each brought their own sparkle — quick smiles, strong opinions, sweet moments, and plenty of fun. They were part of the heartbeat of our community, and they will always be.

While we miss them deeply, we are so grateful for the years, the memories, and the love we were able to share. If you ever walked through our doors, chances are your day was brighter because of them.

We will carry their stories with us, always.

Please keep their families and friends in your thoughts and prayers.
