We had a wonderful time at our Blooming Memories event! We are so grateful to the lovely ladies from Gurnee Meadows and everyone who joined us to make the afternoon such a massive success. Guests had a blast crafting fresh flower bouquets, sipping delicious infused iced teas, and painting bright, summer-themed canvases in our craft room. A huge thank you to Mariano’s in Gurnee for graciously donating beautiful flowers to our community! Because of their kindness, our residents get to spend time creating fresh flower bouquets to share throughout the community with fellow residents, team members, and families. A huge thank you to Kyle from St. Croix Hospice for treating our team to Olive Garden to kick off the week! And another special thank you to Leslie and Lorena from V Care Hospice and Elite Home Health Care for the amazing Raising Cane’s lunch, thoughtful goodie bags for our nursing team, and the CUTEST nurse-themed sugar cookies ever!

We had a very festive week in our community celebrating both Mother’s Day and Cinco de Mayo! Loved ones joined our residents for sweet treats and a wonderful performance by Edizon Dayo. We also kept the party going for Cinco de Mayo with music from the Ukul-Eddies. It was a week filled with joy and great company! 💙
