Country View Estates has recently become certified to offer Supported Employment Services. This is a wonderful program that bridges the gap between employers looking for employees and disabled persons looking for gainful employment.

Supported employment services are designed to help individuals with disabilities, including intellectual disabilities, mental health conditions, and traumatic brain injuries, obtain and maintain competitive, integrated employment in the general workforce, with ongoing support as needed.

Focus on Competitive Employment:
Supported employment aims to place individuals in jobs that are open to the general public and pay a standard wage.
Ongoing Support:
Unlike traditional job training programs, supported employment provides ongoing support to help individuals maintain their jobs, which can include job coaching, skills training, and assistance with navigating workplace challenges.

Examples of Services:
Vocational Assessment: Identifying skills, interests, and career goals.
Job Search and Development: Finding and securing job placements.
Job Skills Training: Providing training and support to improve job skills.
