Harry Potter is on the telly, Lamps are lit, candles are glowing and......sigh...time to reset.

We are headed to Nixa Misourri next week for the 23rd Metaphysical Fair. Its a jaunt but a beautiful one.

We are manifesting good weather for the trip. Its the last big one of the year and then we will open Small Business Saturday thru the holiday season.

This has been a long year. Tents destroyed,rained out events, (no money back), inventory damage, show drama, vehicle drama, water heater, HVAC, floods.....alas, 2 hernias, an ulcer and one blown disc later and I would say we made some major advances this year.

Ok. Enough doom and gloom. Im so excited for everything coming next. None of it would be possible without my mini me. Jacqueline is such a creative soul. She loves to dream up new ideas. She is always giving away bracelets to tiny humans or anyone who just really needs a kind moment. I am so proud of her strength and bravery to start her own business.

Thank you for all of your sweetness and sass. Here's to our next adventure.

Hello Dahlings! Happy Tuesday.

First, let me apologize for the lack of posts and the mess of info regarding this last weekends Ren Faire in Eldon. I got quite a few messages about this event, regarding misinformation.

Please know, im not the event manager. Im just a vendor. I can only relay the info given to me. Or shared by the event coordinators. I understand it was year one. People dropped out mid planning....things happen. I wish them the very best in year 2. It can only get better from here.

Our tents were on a slab of rock so it bent every stake, bent my 10x10 frame in half, tore the the velcro off all the walls and sand bags. The wind wasn't that bad, it was the location. We just couldn't get stakes in deep enough. The tent lifted off the ground and Jacqueline lifted with it. Ugh.....freaked me out.

Since the tent fell it damaged about $500 in inventory. .....Since 80% of our shop is hand made or curated, it's irreplaceable

This year has been rough. I think ive cried for 2 days straight. Heat stroke, heat exhaustion, standing in 3 feet of water under our tents for hours, thousands of dollars in damages, broken displays, wind tunnels, dead shows, Covid, ulcer, hernias, no more money,...Detective Murtaugh was right .im getting too old for this s**t.

I have such big dreams and ideas. And they are not just for me but for everyone in my life. I have always wanted a place where anyone feels safe and comfortable to be. Women and young girls feel empowered. Kids can touch the rocks and bones and ask questions and get inspired. I never thought I would take my act on the road. Or that my business would be so reliant on social media.
Seeing the tents fall and counting the damages, we'll, it broke my heart. My heart physically hurt.

Im not giving up!!

If you see us outside, shlepping bins in and out....again....say hello or give us a honk...it's hard work. Everyone needs a cheer leader.
