Never Till Now
By ~

Jensen and Callie begrudgingly agree to a blind date photo shoot. They didn't expect sparks to fly. They also didn't expect the photos to go viral! They try to resist the chemistry, but as they begin to process their own past hurts, they realize there might be more to that chemistry than just sparks.

Y'all... this is what closed door romance should be! It has alllll the sizzle. All the chemistry. There is just a firmly closed door for the reader. The characters had to process some very real hurt, emotions, and past demons. They are flawed humans, but opened themselves to connection and vulnerability. I loved it all!

I love that this is written by a teacher. I love that she wanted to keep it closed door out of respect for her students. I love that she was open about her own insecurities when it came to this story. I not only loved the story, but her story behind the story.

Please write more !!!

I had a lovely time tonight at Books & Bubbles with ! It was fun to guess at all of the Blind Date With a Book options and see all of her cute coffee glasses! I'll be starting this YA romantasy soon!

In our house, we're starting to get into that back-to-school mode! We're also starting to feel the effects of just a little too much screen time. Maybe you're feeling the same way?!?!

It feels like a good time for a summer's end reading challenge! We have a standing rule that if my boys actually read the books they check out from the library each week, we'll get a Swing drink on our way to return them.

For this challenge, I may even offer up a Bahama Bucks run or a sugar cookie from Swig if they complete 3 out of the 5 tasks! I'll buy a new book if they complete all 5!

Maybe I should get myself a little something if I complete all 5 myself!!!!

It's family getaway time! I have been looking forward to this long weekend at a cabin! I brought a rather ambitious stack considering the number of days we will actually be here (and considering I brought my Kindle too).

I'm reading an ARC of Never Till Now by and I am loving Jensen Shepherd! He is so loyal, but has that brooding masculinity that is just so intriguing!
