Gardening With Migraine I live with chronic migraine and a few other chronic illnesses. Gardening has become a lifeline that works around my daily migraines and pain.

I’m talking about asparagus! Like it or not, the ferns are beautiful. There’s some need to know information if you want to grow it. Even though it’s late to plant them, although it’s not too late, planning is a must.

I thought of this trick because I want some radishes and beets, but Oklahoma summers are way too hot. I am going to use this container to grow cool weather crops in my seed starting station, where they will stay cool during the very hot months.

Once powdery mildew takes hold, you can try to fight it with Neem Oil or a soap wash made from a plant safe soil and sodium bicarbonate. If that doesn’t work, and the plant isn’t growing or producing, then it’s time to remove it. DONT put them unless you know how to do hot composting.

How I’m trellising my tomatoes this year. So far, it’s far better than the cages and stakes I used last year. Also, I included a tip about airflow and preventing soil borne diseases at the bottom of the tomato.

Don’t forget the pollinators. Every flower can attract pollinators, including native plants (otherwise known as weeds). Pollinators are important because they make the difference between having an abundant harvest, or almost none. It also helps with bee and monarch butterfly conservation.
