The new Memorial Hospital of Texas County MHTCA is a county owned, non-profit Critical Access Hospital located in Guymon Oklahoma.

Memorial Hospital of Texas County Authority is a county owned, non-profit Critical Access Hospital licensed by the Oklahoma State Department of Health. Operating as a Level IV, 25-bed facility, we serve the residents of Texas County and the surrounding communities in the Oklahoma Panhandle. In addition, the hospital operates one clinic; High Plains Clinic offers primary care, pediatric, and family practice services in Guymon. Our services include: full range of diagnostic imaging services, complete laboratory testing, cardiac and respiratory services, inpatient and observation hospitalization, Swingbed, and the Emergency Department that is staffed 24/7 with a physician and trauma trained nurses and paramedics.

To help ensure the safety of our patients, visitors, and staff, the Administration entrance is accessible Monday–Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will be locked after hours and on weekends.

For access outside of these hours, please enter and exit through the Admissions / Patient Registration area on the west side of the building.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we continue to prioritize a safe and secure environment for everyone.

✨Please join us in congratulating Mayra Morales, MLT (AMT), on her new role as High Plains Clinic Manager! ✨

Mayra has proudly called High Plains Clinic her work home for the past six years. She graduated from SCCC in 2018 with an Associate of Applied Science in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) and brings both experience and dedication to her new role.

Outside of work, Mayra enjoys spending quality time with her boys, along with reading and crafting—activities that keep her grounded and inspired.

Mayra shared,
“Helping others is truly my passion, and I’m thankful to work in a place where compassion, teamwork, and patient care come first. I’m grateful to do meaningful work alongside people who feel like family.”

Another year has swiftly passed, and this brings us to the brink of a new year. Despite the many challenges we faced this year, there is so much to be proud of at Memorial Hospital of Texas County. As I reflect back on 2025, I want to acknowledge how amazingly each and every one of our employees have continued to perform. Throughout the year I have seen our MHTC family and our community come together.

I would like to express my gratitude to our staff members for their tireless work and commitment to our patients.

I would also like to take a moment to offer my condolences to those who have lost loved ones during this past year. I would like to invite you to send a message to those family members or friends who have lost someone to let them know that they are in your thoughts.
