Originally from Hope, Michigan, she is excited to return to a rural setting and serve the communities of the Upper Peninsula. She is passionate about mental health, women’s health, and office procedures, and brings advanced training in point-of-care ultrasound to her practice.

A Marquette native, Anna is passionate about providing accessible, patient-centered care and expanding reproductive health services for the community she calls home. Trevor steps into the role following the recent retirement of Don Simila, UGL’s founding CEO. Under Don’s leadership, UGL grew from a single clinic into a thriving network of 17 locations, expanding access to care in rural communities across the region.

We’re excited to share some big updates from our growing team at UGL Pediatrics!

Please help us welcome Dr. Anna Meyers, a Copper Country native who’s returned home and is now seeing patients at our Hancock Pediatrics clinic. Dr. Anna brings a warm, thoughtful approach to care and is excited to serve the community she grew up in.

To better serve families in our region, we’ve expanded hours at the Hancock Pediatrics clinic to 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and added even more same-day access. Emma Buchele, DNP, and Katie Brewster, NP, have joined our team to support hospital-based pediatric care and increase availability for timely visits in the clinic.

We’re also happy to share that Dr. Cathy Azzarello is now practicing at our Lake Linden clinic, with hours Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM — making care even more convenient for families in the area.
