🏍️ Paul Miller Sign Re-Dedication, Cookout & Memorial Ride 🏍️

This Sunday afternoon, the Miller family will be gathering at the Pee-Wee Track parking lot at Dry Lake Motocross Park to re-dedicate and hang the newly refreshed Paul Miller sign.

Paul was one of the founding members of Rocky Mountain Sport Riders (RMSR) and one of the driving forces behind making Dry Lake MX Park a reality. His passion for riding, family, and the dirt bike community helped shape this place into what it is today. Although Paul’s life was cut short by cancer, his legacy continues through his family, friends, and especially through his son Windham, who continues to ride and volunteer at the park ❤️

🌭 The family will be grilling up some hot dogs and refreshments for anyone who would like to stop by, say hello, share stories and memories, or simply spend some time together at the track.

🏁 Everyone is welcome — whether you knew Paul personally, want to support the family, or just want to come enjoy a great day at Dry Lake MX.

And yes… the main track will be FULLY PREPPED and watered for the day! 💦🚜

Kolt will be up at the track tonight around 6:00 PM getting things rolling 🙌

If enough kids show up and want to race, we’ll line up some motos! 🏁 If not, no worries — we’ll still have a fun social ride night with plenty of seat time, practice, and hanging out with friends 👌😎

Perfect opportunity for the kids to get some riding in, build skills, and enjoy an evening at the track 🌄🏍️

🏍️💃 Who’s coming to Girls Ride “Too”sday TONIGHT at Dry Lake MX? 🙌

We had SO much fun at our last ride night on May 12th, and here are just a few of the awesome photos from the evening! 💕🏁

The forecast is calling for some scattered showers tonight 🌦️, so we’ll be watching the radar closely and will post updates if we need to cancel due to rain/mud conditions. Stay tuned!

🏍️🎉 What an AMAZING day at our 3rd Annual Take A Kid Dirt Biking Day at Dry Lake Motocross Park! 🧒👧🙌

Inspired by the AMA’s “Take A Kid Dirt Biking Month,” we love the outreach this event provides, and it’s such a fun day for kids and families alike! 💥

The park was buzzing all day with everyone riding, learning, and enjoying the awesome conditions at the track 🏁 Huge thanks to the prep crew for pulling off yet another incredible prep on the main track! Even the weather cooperated… mostly 😅 A quick passing rainstorm rolled through midday and gave the track a perfect little refresh 💦☀️

We had fun games, prizes🎁and a burger & hotdog cookout 🍔🌭 courtesy of MotoSource Colorado, AMA goodie bags and stickers, and Dry Lake MX stickers for every kid thanks to Wrap Colorado 🙌

A huge thank you also goes out to Stay The Trail and the U.S. Forest Service for joining us to help promote responsible riding and public land stewardship 🌲🗺️ And of course… Smokey Bear stole the show yet again 🐻🏍️ making his appearance on a dirt bike and helping with one of the kids’ games 😂🔥

One of the coolest parts of the day was seeing so many first-time visitors to Dry Lake MX Park. We hope everyone had a blast, and we look forward to seeing you all back throughout the season! 💚

🚜🌲 Some awesome singletrack work recently took place at Dry Lake MX Park! 🙌

Huge thanks to the BLM Grand Junction Field Office for coming out this week to help repair large sections of our perimeter singletrack trail system — especially areas that were heavily impacted during last summer’s race event and had developed deep ruts, blown-out corners, and widened trail sections in serious need of attention (see before, during, and after photos).

Dan, Ruxton, and Eric brought out the trail dozer & hand tools and made major improvements to the trail. 👏🏍️ The difference is incredible! We still have a few more spots we hope to touch up later this season as well.

Please keep in mind that these freshly repaired sections need to be ridden in gently and with purpose, helping place tire tracks where we want the trail to permanently live 👍

One thing many people don’t realize is that Dry Lake MX Park caters to MANY different riding styles and skill levels — not just expert motocross riders. Our perimeter singletrack is an awesome place to pound out training laps, get faster in corners, and learn beginner trail-riding skills in a relatively low-consequence environment with good visibility 🏍️🌄

Projects like this are made possible through the partnership and generosity of the BLM field office, along with Colorado OHV grant funding. 💚 Please remember: your Colorado OHV registration dollars directly support projects like these across the state!

We’ve got more trail stewardship projects and volunteer opportunities planned around the county throughout the season, so stay tuned and come help us continue improving the places we ride 💪🌄
