Not sad to see 2020 go in a couple of days. Worst year ever! Lost two of the most important people in out lives...Mark’s Mama and My Daddy. Throw into the mix a pandemic and shoulder surgery plus the worst year in the history of the post office and it’s a miracle all of us didn’t throw in the towel!

Through it all...God never left our side. He’s been there every step of the way and every minute of every day. 🙌

Big changes have been going on here at The House of Payne! First of all, we have a new House of Payne and it’s the ORIGINAL!!! We have just moved into Mark’s childhood home that they built when he was 10 years old. We are so excited to be here...albeit a couple of years before we had planned...and look forward to this being our forever home. It’s full of so many family memories and we’re loving putting our own stamp on it and looking forward to building on those memories. Sydnee will be graduating soon and next year Bevan will be too. It’s exciting times for both of them as they get ready to venture out into the real world and college. Retirement is in sight for Mark, but during the next couple of years we’re going to begin a new venture that we’ll announce soon as well as get a few other things kickstarted. We will keep you posted and until then, we hope your days are blessed!

Happy New Year from all of us here at The House of Payne! We hope you all have a safe and fantabulous New Year's Eve/Day! We're looking forward to all the blessings God has in store for us in 2017...even the valleys as they are where we remember to lean on Him the most! Thankfully, His mercies are new each day...all 365 days a year!
