1. Create a Morning Ritual: Start your day with a calming routine. Whether it’s sipping a cup of tea or journaling, find activities that set a positive tone for the day.

2. Respect Your Limits: Listen to your body and mind. Know when to push yourself and when to take a step back. It’s okay to say no!

3. Move Your Body: Incorporate some form of movement into your day. A gentle stretch, a walk, or a workout can uplift your mood and energize you.

4. Disconnect to Reconnect: Take a break from screens and social media. Use this time to engage with your thoughts, nature, or a good book to find clarity.

5. Find Joy in the Little Things! Appreciating the little things in life means that you focus your attention on what nurtures and sustains you in life. On everything that brings you even the smallest amount of pleasure. It also means practicing gratitude by noticing these everyday things that you take for granted so easily.

We’ll be at Sustainable Ridgefield Park’s 11th Annual Health Fair! Stop by our table on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 9 AM to 1 PM at the Knights of Columbus, 106 Bergen Avenue in Ridgefield Park. This volunteer-run event brings together 50+ exhibitors offering resources for physical, mental, and financial wellness. Join us for a day of health and wellness with services, demos, and giveaways for all ages. Don’t forget to bring non-perishable food items, hygiene products and paper goods for the food pantry drive!

Topics of discussion will be: Anxiety and stress management. Coping with family changes (divorce, moving). Friendship dynamics and peer pressure.
Self-esteem and body image issues. Anger management and behavior.

Can your child benefit from the opportunity to discuss their feelings, thoughts, and behaviors in a supportive environment? Here is an opportunity for children to connect with peers who may share similar challenges, helping them feel less isolated.
