A non-profit organization, Heath Village represents an affordable choice for today's retirees. Application can be made for any level of living.

Heath Village represents an affordable choice for today’s retiree who wants to remain active, involved and independent. A non-profit, full service retirement community, Heath Village offers a choice of lifestyle options, first-rate amenities, numerous social opportunities and the security of comprehensive health care services on-site. Situated in western Morris County, Heath Village is centrally located to both New York City and the beautiful Pocono Mountains via nearby Route 80. Just a few minutes down the road, residents can enjoy the small town charm of Hackettstown, home of Centenary College. Our beautiful 100+ acre campus is comprised of:
•151 independent apartments,
•A 10-unit cottage community,
•41 hotel-style apartments,
•A 40-bed Residential Health Care Facility, and
•A 99-bed comprehensive Skilled Nursing Center. Residents can remain on campus (with the exception of hospital stays) near their spouse and friends regardless of health status. We have been offering “unbundled” services since our inception. You have the option of paying a modest Community Fee, thus allowing your monthly maintenance fee to be reduced. In either case, you are in control of your assets. Village apartments and cottages are nestled within “miniature neighborhoods,” scattered throughout the campus. All single story structures, they offer easy egress and opportunities for cheery flower gardens right outside your door. We have a variety of floor plans from which to choose, ranging in size from studios to two bedroom units. Apartments are leased unfurnished so you can create your own “personal touch” with individualized decorating. A 24-hour personal security pendant provides security and peace of mind. Maintenance-free living gives you the freedom to live your life to the fullest. Except for telephone and cable service, all utilities are included. You may also enjoy the companionship of a pet in your new home. Our convenient on-site guest accommodations allow for carefree visits from family and friends.

This past month, we were so excited to celebrate Margaret Nicolich as our resident of the month at the Meadows. Margaret has been a resident of Heath Village for more than 5 years and she currently lives in our beautiful Hickory Lodge neighborhood at the Meadows.

Margaret grew up in Clinton, NJ, and later lived in Saddle Brook, NJ. She was married and raised three children while balancing family life with a career as a librarian. She also spent time working in New York City.

Margaret has always enjoyed traveling and has a special talent for sewing. When her children were growing up, she lovingly sewed their Easter outfits each year—creating memories that her family still cherishes today.

We’re so happy to have Margaret as part of our community!

Heath Village was excited to welcome Washington Township Mayor Michael Marino & Morris County Surrogate Heather Darling recently to our campus. Our residents were able to hear both local leaders speak and we had the chance to learn more about the issues and initiatives shaping our community. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with local leadership and we look forward to having them back to our village in the future.

A few of our talented resident woodworkers broke out the power tools and put their skills to work in our campus woodshop, crafting new bin enclosures for our outdoor garbage areas. We have the best residents and they are always willing to lend a hand. Our Grounds & Maintenance departments are extremely grateful for their help and these new enclosures look great and will keep our outdoor garbage areas organized and clean.

Our community just got a bit brighter! We're so excited to welcome our newest residents and we love that they all said "Yes To The Address!" We hosted our most recent Newcomers Event where we welcomed new residents along with their resident "greeters". It’s a chance for our newest residents to connect with one another, meet our department directors, existing resident "greeters" and put faces to the names that help make our community feel like home. We hope this amazing group of new residents are as happy living at Heath Village as we are to add them to our village family. Welcome to Heath Village! ❤
