Calm Kids Summer Camp | July 6–10 | Ages 6–12

We blend art, movement, mindfulness, friendship-building, and play therapy games so kids can grow confidence without pressure. Think connection over chaos. Regulation over overwhelm. Belonging over “fit in.”

And the best part? It’s less than the cost of one therapy session per day, with potential insurance reimbursement.

Spots are intentionally limited to keep it cozy and supportive.

A “safe place” visual can be a powerful healing tool for children. When kids practice imagining or creating their safe place, they are building an emotional anchor they can return to whenever they feel overwhelmed, lonely, scared, or unsure.

In dysregulated moments, the brain often struggles to find calm on its own. A familiar safe-place image gives children something steady to hold onto — a reminder that comfort, protection, and support are always accessible, even when big feelings show up.

Over time, this simple practice strengthens emotional regulation, confidence, and the belief: “I know how to help myself feel safe.”

Children aren’t born with the ability to regulate big emotions on their own. They learn it through connection with a calm, supportive adult.

When we stay regulated, present, and attuned, children borrow that calm until their nervous systems learn how to create it themselves. This is the foundation of play therapy—helping children build emotional regulation through safe, trusting relationships.
