November is TMJ Awareness Month — a reminder that this small joint plays a big role! The temporomandibular joint (TMJ) connects your lower jaw to your skull, and when it’s not working properly, it can cause pain, headaches, and more.

Common symptoms linked to TMJ disorders include:
🩺Jaw pain or tenderness.
🩺Difficulty chewing.
🩺Clicking or popping sounds.
🩺Lockjaw.
🩺Ear discomfort.

If you’re experiencing any of these symptoms, it may be time to come see us. A nightguard can help with early signs of bruxism, while physical therapy may be needed for more advanced TMJ cases. Don’t ignore jaw pain—spread awareness and take action early!
