Items listed are the most needed, but any doggie donations are accepted and appreciated (ex: collars, leashes, harnesses, bowls, etc). If you have any items you can donate, please pop in and drop them in the box!

VAOH will have new holiday hours starting Monday Dec 15th till Monday Jan 5th. The hours for the rest of the month are as follows:

Monday 12/15 - Thursday 12/18
8am-4pm
Closed Friday-Sunday

Monday 12/22 & Tuesday 12/23
8am-4pm
Closed for Holiday Wednesday-Sunday

Monday 12/29 & Tuesday 12/30

One of our wonderful families got to sit down with Special Books By Special Kids. Lucas and Lara truly are amazing kids. We love seeing them in the office and we are so happy these kids and their family get to share their story with the world. Full interview video in comments. 🤓💛

Lara and Lucas are siblings diagnosed with Cockayne syndrome, a rare and fatal disease that causes rapid aging. When Lucas was born, doctors believed his disabilities were due to complications at birth. But when his sister Lara began showing similar symptoms a few years later, it was discovered that both children were living with the same devastating condition. Now, their family is focused on cherishing every moment and creating lasting memories together while they still have time. You can watch this interview in the comments below.

We will be open Monday 4/14 - Wednesday 4/16 for our regular business hours, then we are CLOSED from Thursday 4/17 - Monday 4/28. We will reopen on Monday 4/28.

About the Systane Ultra PF nationwide recall:

The affected Systane Lubricant Eye Drops Ultra PF, Single Vials On-the-Go is limited to lot number 10101, with an expiration date of September 2025. They come in a green and pink carton, and again are sold in quantities of 25. The lot number and expiration date are printed on the back of the box, and on each individual vial. Right now Systane Complete PF is not affected as of now.
