Our instructors are currently working in the field as Emergency Medical Technicians, Paramedics and Registered Nurses. Our staff collectively possess over 70 years of emergency experience including practicing EMTs, EMRs and Registered Nurses, training and program development and management of educational services. Our staff has the following certifications:

"Into the Flames: Introduction to Firefighting and Emergency Services" is a 12-week in-person course designed for those interested in fire service careers and emergency operations. Students will explore fire science fundamentals, firefighter selection and training, public fire education, and the chemistry and physics of fire. The course includes hands-on training in fire protection systems, emergency incident management, and CPAT readiness to prepare for real-world challenges. Classes run Tuesdays, 5:30 PM – 9:30 PM, from September 16 to December 9, 2025, at First Approach EMS Education—register by August 29 to save $100!
