Mental health content on social media helps raise awareness & reduces the stigma surrounding mental health issues. Many are able to access helpful resources & education, gain insight & coping strategies.

And - content can also be oversimplified & misused, leading to misdiagnosis, self-stigmatization, or misguided self-help efforts. What resonates with others may not necessarily align with your unique experiences, values, or circumstances. Your individual journey & identity shape how information relates to you & it's okay to use discernment in what information you absorb.
